What's It About?
This is a blended support and skills group for adults struggling with a loss. Participants will receive education about grief, skills to cope with grief, and support from the group leaders and members. Skills and topics include those from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, positive psychology, and existential psychology.

Meet Your Clinician
Joe Teeple, PsyD
Clinician, Supervisor, Department of Psychology Assistant Professor
Dr. Teeple completed his undergraduate education at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and his doctorate in clinical psychology at Marywood University in Scranton, PA -- Yes, the town from The Office! He completed his doctoral internship at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center and is currently serving as a postdoctoral fellow at Westside Psychological Services, as well as an adjunct professor of psychology at Roberts Wesleyan University and Rochester Institute of Technology.
Dr. Teeple has experience treating and assessing cases ranging from ADHD and learning disorders to complex trauma. He works primarily with adults and has a clinical interest in working with patients with trauma, and has a special interest in working with patients suffering from terminal illnesses. Dr. Teeple also has an interest in group therapy.
