On Thursday, April 24, Advancement hosted its annual Circle Reception at the Golisano Community Engagement Center. More than 85 generous donors came to campus for an evening of celebration and gratitude. The event featured a student panel moderated by Dr. Ian Slater, AVP for Student Experience. Nia Williams ‘28, Landon Sittig ‘27, and Ghabryella Perez-Valentin ‘25 shared with guests their academic experiences, spiritual growth and the transformative impact of donor support.

The evening also included remarks from President Rupert Hayles, Jr, who provided updates on recent campus initiatives and milestones. A highlight of the program was the presentation of the President’s Award of Excellence. Each year, this award is given to a donor who exemplifies the three elements of the University’s mission: Scholarship, Spiritual Formation, and Service. This year’s recipients were Randy and Marion Henderson. Together, the Hendersons are vital partners in the work of Roberts Wesleyan University.
