Alumni Spotlight: Katie Borchers, M ‘10 (Health Administration)
Katie Borchers, MSHA RN, a 2010 graduate of Roberts Wesleyan University, earned her Master of Science in Health Administration. Borchers took a leap of faith and started her business four years ago.
Borchers owns Beyond Green Solutions, aiming to make patient collections easier and more patient-friendly. The leadership team continues to stay engaged by learning, collaborating, and staying updated in healthcare, finance, and technology. The company recently celebrated an exciting milestone — Beyond Green Solutions has acquired Richland Bureau of Credits, a respected agency with a 75-year history of ethical collections.
As president, Borchers leads the company through growth and improvement that serve a broad range of healthcare businesses and consumers across the US.
“My master's allowed me to refine my project management skills, understand the administrative side of healthcare, and learn financial concepts that I utilize today to assist healthcare businesses, as well as oversee my company,” said Borchers. “The foundation of serving others and developing character, that I learned at Roberts Wesleyan University, aligns with my vision for steering a financial services company whose goal is to serve the consumer with compassion and respect,” she added.
Borchers shared that she is most proud of combining all of my experiences and education (nursing, IT, project management, adult training) to create and grow a business that serves the healthcare industry and community. “ I am proud of showing that empathetic collections positively impact consumers and healthcare entities,” she said.
