Dr. Marlene Collins-Blair brings over two decades of higher education leadership to her role as Vice President of Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Officer at Roberts Wesleyan University.
Known for her learner-centered approach and strategic vision, Dr. Collins-Blair leads the university’s academic programs, ensuring they remain high-quality, mission-aligned, and responsive to the needs of today’s students. She also oversees accreditation, faculty development, academic innovation, and initiatives that support student success across traditional and non-traditional pathways.
Since joining Roberts in 2023, she has helped guide academic restructuring, launch strategic partnerships, and reaffirm the university’s commitment to Christ-centered, transformative learning. Her leadership was praised during the institution’s recent re-accreditation and 360 review processes.
Dr. Collins-Blair earned her Ph.D. in Spanish from the University of the West Indies (Mona Campus, Jamaica). She also holds credentials in online education leadership, interpreting and translation, and Spanish language and culture from institutions in Madrid, Spain. A GMI-certified mentor, she provides career guidance to underserved college students and young professionals worldwide.
She lives in Dansville, NY, with her family.
