Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Profile

Laura Ribbing serves as the Director of MSW Field Education at Roberts Wesleyan University, where she supports graduate students as they step into meaningful, real-world social work practice. She finds deep joy in witnessing the growth and impact of students as they serve individuals, families, and communities—both in Rochester and across the country—through their field placements. For Laura, it’s more than education; it’s a calling rooted in service and transformation.

Outside of work, Laura and her husband are raising four children and enjoy exploring the New England Coast and taking spontaneous road trips that remind them of the beauty and diversity of the country they call home. She welcomes connection from prospective students who are ready to make a difference through social work.

Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.
