Profile

Dr. Laron Rowe serves as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Business at Roberts Wesleyan University, where he teaches in the Health Administration programs. He brings nearly three decades of experience in healthcare technology and leadership, currently serving as the Senior Director of the IT Business Office at the University of Rochester Medical Center. In this role, Dr. Rowe oversees integrated strategy for talent development, IT operations, project management, and vendor relations. Previously, he led clinical systems integration and informatics for major service lines including cardiology, lab, imaging, and radiation oncology.

His educational background includes a Doctorate in Healthcare Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg, an MBA from Nazareth University, a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Buffalo State, and an A.A.S. from Alfred State. A Rochester native, Dr. Rowe is passionate about bridging business, healthcare, and technology to improve systems and outcomes. Outside the classroom and boardroom, he enjoys running half marathons and spending time with his wife and two daughters in North Chili, NY.
