To me, “education for character” means helping students grow not only in knowledge but in integrity, empathy, and resilience. It’s about shaping people who will make ethical decisions, treat others with kindness, and contribute positively to their communities. In my role, I try to model and promote that by focusing on the whole person, not just academic success but also personal growth and wellness.
Profile
Kristen Godshall serves as the Wellness Coordinator at Roberts Wesleyan University, where she focuses on supporting students’ overall well-being - physically, emotionally, and mentally. She understands that the college years can be both exciting and overwhelming, and she’s passionate about helping students not just get through them, but truly thrive. Through intentional programming, supportive services, and everyday conversations, she equips students with the tools to build lifelong wellness habits.
Outside of her role, Kristen finds joy in quality time with family and friends, traveling, staying active outdoors, and expressing creativity through home projects.
