Jamarr Myers brings a powerful blend of entrepreneurial insight, operational leadership, and a deep commitment to student success into the classroom at Roberts Wesleyan University. Since 2020, he has served as an adjunct professor of business, equipping students with real-world strategies rooted in over two decades of experience across industries.
Currently, Jamarr is the Vice President of Operations at the Golisano Institute for Business & Entrepreneurship, where he helps shape innovative, experience-driven business education for future leaders. He also serves as Vice President at Rochester Black Men Achieve, where he champions mentorship and professional growth for young men of color.
Before transitioning into higher education and nonprofit leadership, Jamarr spent 17 years at Wegmans Food Markets, holding multiple operational roles. He later led programs at EnCompass: Resources for Learning, supporting youth development and community engagement.
Jamarr holds a degree from Roberts Wesleyan University and a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from HarvardX. His teaching focuses on entrepreneurship, operations, and leadership—and his mission is simple: help students think boldly, act strategically, and lead with purpose.
