Profile
Heather Heeks believes that while life can be messy, no one has to navigate it alone. With over 15 years of experience working with youth, families, and individuals facing substance use challenges, her goal in therapy is to partner with clients in a way that honors their strengths, identity, and goals. She takes a collaborative, person-centered approach—grounded in the belief that every individual has inherent value, the ability to grow, and a unique story worth understanding.
Heather uses a blend of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and psychoeducation, always tailored to the person in front of her. Whether supporting a university student in transition or someone seeking clarity through a difficult season, she empowers clients to take an active role in their journey—helping them develop awareness, resilience, and long-term skills for healthy change.
