Rochester, N.Y. – October 17, 2025 – Roberts Wesleyan University’s School of Nursing continues to set the bar high, with the Class of 2025 achieving an impressive 96.4% NCLEX pass rate (27 out of 28 graduates). This marks one of the program’s strongest years on recent record.
This is the result of the incredibly hard work put in by everyone who has worked with our traditional undergraduate nursing students!
“I am so proud of the faculty, staff, and this group of students for reflecting the dedication, rigor, and faith-driven excellence that defines Roberts nursing students. Nurse leaders around the region exclaim, ‘There’s something different about Roberts nurses.’ I would like to think that it is because of their holistic care for their patients and their willingness to serve God and their neighbors.”
Roberts Wesleyan’s nursing program tracks strong outcomes. These outcomes inform how faculty systematically assesses strengths and areas for improvement.
“Our faculty and staff walk closely with students from day one,” added Dr. Dowling-Castronovo, Dean, Graduate Program Director, and Professor in the School of Nursing.
“The Traditional Undergraduate team integrates real-world clinical experience, simulation training, and a Christ-centered approach to providing evidence-based fundamental care. When you combine that kind of preparation with character development success naturally follows.”
The School of Nursing’s continued success reinforces Roberts Wesleyan’s commitment to character-driven education, preparing nurses who lead with relational, compassionate, and competent person-centered fundamental care across every care context.
