
Following a nationwide search, Roberts Wesleyan University is pleased to welcome Tammy Butler as the University’s vice president of institutional advancement, effective July 1. Butler will manage all areas of Roberts Wesleyan University’s advancement activities, including alumni engagement and fundraising strategy that prioritizes alumni engagement. She will lead the philanthropy efforts across the University.
We are delighted to welcome Tammy as our new Vice President of Institutional Advancement at Roberts Wesleyan University. Her proven expertise in fostering philanthropic partnerships and her deep commitment to alumni engagement, coupled with a shared passion for character education, will be instrumental in advancing our mission.
Butler joins the Roberts team from Southeastern University, where she served as Senior Engagement Officer and as the advancement liaison to its five schools. She has also served in leadership roles at World Team USA, Cairn University, Hawthorne Christian Academy, and other higher education institutions.
“What draws me most to Roberts Wesleyan is its rich history of Christ-centered education and deep commitment to shaping servant leaders. I am inspired by the University’s dedication to transformational learning, diversity and community impact - values that I hold at the core of my leadership philosophy,” said Butler.
Butler earned her undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a graduate degree from Norwich University. A few of her most recent accolades include Member of Lakeland Rotary Club, Finisher in the Disney Half Marathon, Certified Fundraising Executive Professional and Fellowship of Christian Athletes Metro Philadelphia Board, among many others.
